14th biennial conference of the Australasian Corrections Education Association (ACEA)

Project meeting | Izmir, Turkey 17h - 18th October 2019The second transnational meeting of ActiveGames4Change project took place in Izmir, Turkey, on the 17th and 18th of October 2019 at Anemon Fuar Hotel. Representatives from the partner countries (the United Kingdom, Portugal, Hungary, Romania, Turkey and Italy) participated in this second project meeting, where the project’s implementation progress was discussed by the partners, including goals and tasks for the upcoming months. Furthermore, the partners also discussed and reviewed some administrative and financial topics.

ActiveGames4Change Project Kick-off Meeting | Cheltenham, United Kingdom 10th and 11th February 2019
The kick-off meeting of ActiveGames4Change project took place in Cheltenham, United Kingdom, on February 11th and 12th. ActiveGames4change aims to support young offenders (in custody or under community supervision) acquiring and using key competences through sports and physical activity to facilitate their inclusion, education and employability, by developing an innovative framework of learning environments and materials. The project consortium is composed of partners from 6 European countries, namely: United Kingdom (University of Gloucestershire), Portugal (IPS_Innovative Prison Systems, Aproximar – Cooperativa de Solidariedade Social e BSAFE LAB - Law Enforcement, Justice and Public Safety Research and Technology Transfer Lab, Beira Interior University, Romania (Centrul Pentru Promovarea Invatarii Permanente -CPIP and Asociatia ANTER), Italy (CESIE – Centro Studi e Iniziative Europeo), Hungary (BAGázs– Bagazs Kozhasznu Egyesulet), Spain (Fundación Diagrama) and Turkey (Turkish Ministry of Justice). |
